hearts + pink vibes

I’m learning that one of the best things of your BFF having a daughter, is the fact that I have someone to spoil. Books, clothes, toys, and today… balloons. It’s never too early to start doing fun, styled shoots!

We’re keeping it nice and simple for Haisley’s first styled shoot, a few balloons, a faux cake, and lots of hearts. We decided on 2 backdrop designs accompanied by 2 outfit changes!

Backdrop 1: We ended up making 2 clusters of pink balloons framed Haisley from behind and we set up a little table with her faux Valentine’s Day cakes. One of the clusters had a bit of pink and white tassels flowing down, which gave it a more whimsy vibe

Backdrop 2: We taped up some latex balloon hearts to make a simple but cute backdrop for her! Haisley sat on a fur couch and gave us a few shots!

We definitely learned a lot during this shoot, like how babies are transfixed on Ms. Rachel, haha. Haisley will be back for more themed photo shoots in the near future!
